Chewable Jewellery
Chewable jewellery/items are recommended by Occupational Therapists as a tool for a child who loves to mouth / chew objects. They can be used independently to receive oral motor input to develop effective control of their nervous system. They are made from food grade silicone and are held on a strong black necklace with a custom clasp that is specially designed to separate easily when gently tugged or snagged. Cleaning is super-simple and easy so children can always keep them nearby.
Care instructions:
Clean by hand: Cleaned by hand using a clean damp cloth and warm soapy water. Then rinse off and dry
Dishwasher: Put into the dishwasher on the top shelf (below 65C).
* Please note: Chews are a consumable item and are not designed to last forever. As soon as you see any sign of wear and tear you should discard your chews.
Please use discretion and always use under adult supervision. These jewellery pieces are not indestructible and therefore will need to be monitored and replaced if damaged.
